Calling all Volunteers!

The CDFG, NOAA, CINC and local boaters have always been a big help at this event.   More divers are needed as well as dock support workers. CINC volunteers earn hours by helping with this event. Each year Santa Barbara Harbor runs a clean sweep to remove debris from the harbor floor. Last year two motors were brought up, as well as boat chairs, BBQs, you name it, they find it.
It's fun. I have done it by helping dock side along with many other CINC volunteers. If you dive, it's rewarding work, if you don't--dock side support is greatly needed.
This year Mick Kronman, Harbor Operations Manager for Santa Barbara (and event coordinator) is focusing on the west end of Marina One, fingers A-D.  Meet at the Travel Hoist Pier at 8:00 a.m.  Free donuts, coffee and lunch (no water bottles).  If you could spread the word about the need for volunteers, that would be great too.
