I may have seen the same noon-time cow/calf pair off Fernald Point just east of
Miramar beach this morning. Sunday there was a pair also. My first from shore.
 Too much fun.

Subject: [CINC] CX April 28

 9 AM: mother/calf pair,
about ten bottle nose dolphins,
harbor seals, sea lions.
rough seas.
12 noon:
another mom/calf pair,
harbor seals (probably same as AM), sea lions
rougher seas.

Capt. Dave at helm: passengers from Switzerland, Denmark, England, Germany,
Bakersfield, Maryland and a few locals.
John Kuizenga - PID, Rae Emmett and Bill Weinerth - naturalists.
Kristen Cain, Cliff Rodriques, and Tom Boyd trainees shadowing.
We were fortunate on the noon trip to locate the mom/calf pair just outside of
the harbor.
"Sick bay" was close to full with seventh grade students from Bakersfield.
Capt. Dave kept all under control and interesting.
