Sightings: 6 Humpbacks
			3 Blues
			1500 Common Dolphins
			8 Dall's Porpoises
			1 Mola Mola

We headed toward Santa Cruz in search of whales and quickly found
four humpbacks, one blue and some common dolphins. Everyone was very
excited and eager to get a closer look at the Blues. In consequent
sightings they remained elusive, not letting us get too close, but
close enough to see the distance between their blowholes and fins, so
the passengers had a great time extrapolating where they ended and
began. Captain Mat did a great job, as usual, in getting us to the
wildlife.

On our return trip we took a couple of detours to watch the Dall's
porpoises and the Mola Mola, much to everyone's delight. The comments
from the passengers as they debarked indicated that this day did,
indeed, meet all expectations.

Passengers were from Germany, Sweden, Mexico, United Kingdom, Spain,
Turkey, England, Washington D.C., Washington State, and many from
California. In general, this was a group of experienced whale
watchers, having watched whales in South Africa, Australia, Hawaii,
the North Atlantic and the Mediterranean.

Thanks to Captain Mat and the crew for another great day of whale
watching!
