With approximately 100 passengers from many parts of the world, lots of europeans, the Condor Express set out from Santa Barbara with hopes of sighting a Blue or Humpback.
Unfortunately, we only came upon three pods of off-shore bottlenose dolphins. There were approximately 300 and they were beautiful and very animated and the majority of the group were thrilled. Even though it was rough on the channel, Capt Matt and crew of Matt and Brooke did a great job of keeping the crowd informed and entertained and managed to keep the Condor out of the rough seas which made for a very enjoyable trip with lots of sunshine for the vast majority of the passengers (ie, very few got sick)
Hal Altman was aboard on PID and Valerie Olson did her usual fine job of educating the passengers on the channel and the whales.
