Hello Ocean People,
This Saturday night's 8 p.m. power point presentation by Tara Brown and myself at Carpinteria State Beach is open to the public, as well as campers. It is on "Marine Mammals of the CINMS and CINP." We conclude with a video clip on the first re-enacted Chumash tomol crossing, then also inform the audience how they , too, can cross under the Rainbow Bridge to another world.
If your interested in helping present at future State Park presentations, I encourage you to come. We are doing the same at El Capitan State Beach tonight, and Julie Tumamait follows us next week.
You need not enter the Carpinteria State Park with your vehicle and pay $10. Park outside the Park and walk in. Turn off Casitas Pass Rd toward the ocean. On Carpinteria Ave turn right. Go one long block and turn left on Palm Ave and park anywhere just prior to theState Park entrance. The amphitheater is on the immediate right by the visitor's center.
Let us know you are i the crowd. Paul and Tara.
