[CINC] IPCO Whale Watch 8/24/11

Sightings: 1 Blue mom with calf off of Santa Cruz

             2 small Common Dolphin pods 
             
             hundreds of CA seal lions on the south side of Anacapa

The ocean was immediately rough out of the harbor & as usual got rougher the 
further west we went.  The initial goal was Santa Rosa & San Miguel, but 
thankfully we found the Blues much sooner.  Capt Jimmy did an awesome journey 
into Painted Cafe & the lighting was such that it looked like a Disneyland ride, 
like we on rails in the water.  We continued on cruising the Santa Cruz coast 
then went to the south side of Anacapa to see all the hawled out sea lions & the 
arch before back to land.
