2 small pods of common dolphins
A dozen or so sea lions
Plenty of sheep in the pasture (Which fellow CINCer coined that phrase?)  

Capt. Mat kindly and gently headed east to the Anacapa/Santa Cruz gap through 
rough seas. During a brief respite south of the islands the 79 passengers caught 
their collective breath before a very wet trip back home.  A couple of small 
pods of commons along with a few handfuls of sea lions provided the only marine 
mammal entertainment.  Most passengers good humored and very few sick thanks to 
dexterous ship handling by Mat  ably assisted by Capt. Dave and even some yummy 
sandwiches consumed thanks to Brooke.
