1 stellar sea lion
2 mega pods common dolphin and 2 small pods
1 basking shark
1 bald eagle
Great trip even though no big whales seen. First off on the buoy out of Ventura harbor we stopped to look at all the sea lions when Steve (crew member) noticed that what we thought was a big bull sea lion was a female stellar sea lion. It was only a handful of passengers, all were pretty sea worthy but a few. Went out past Santa Rosa and didn't see anything then the crew of the Condor shared the wonderful news of seeing a BASKING SHARK!!!!! What a great find. the Captain and crew told the passengers what a great find this was, even better than a blue whale. Every one was thrilled!! Most of the passengers were in awe of our cruise along the coast Santa Cruz. The sun was out and the views were awesome. Painted Cave was especially wonderful as Captain Lee went really far in and everyone was ohing and awing We saw a blad eagle being chasing by to ravens by Fry's bay. Exciting to all including me as it was my first time seeing a bald eagle on the island. Painted Cave was especially wonderful as Captain Lee went really far in and everyone was ooh and awing. As we were touring prison's Lee told us about a couple on the boat that had gotten remarried on the boat 6 years ago. All in all it was another day in paradise! Everyone had a grand old time. Thanks to the wonderful crew: Captain Lee, Steve and Jean. and my partner Laura Shelton and me Debbie Shelley. We all enjoyed the Trip!!
