[TARA BROWN]

Merry Christmas Eve and Happy Hannukah,
 The Islander sailed to Scorpion Anchorageand Prisoner's Harbor today with 127 passengers. The voyage under Skipper Anthony's navigation was a scenic treat for all, with visability limited only by the horizon. Passengers from India, China, and France aplenty shared a great day on the island with we natives. Tara Brown led a hike with 42 to Cavern Point, then covered the Visitor Center. Myself, Paul Petrich, led 19 more to Potato Harbor, via Cavern Point, and into Scorpion Canyon. Fox were sighted by all. Visability was from Pt Conception to Pt Magu, and questions about the Chumash were many from our forieign visitors, as were questions about TNC and CINP cooperation. The return was an hour earlier, but all had a wonderful experience.   Paul
