Only the noon trip went out. Capt. Dave, with an assist from Peter at Gray Whales Count, found one northbound gray whale near Platform Holly; we stayed with it for a while, getting good looks.  Our mid-channel search for common dolphins was unsuccessful, but it was a glorious day on the water, with gorgeous views of snow-capped mountains. Debbie Shelley and I shared naturalist duties.
