[CINC] John Olguin Memorial

Ocean Fans, If you are going to the John Olguin Memorial Saturday at Cabrillo Beach in San Pedro, some planning advice follows. There will be a lot of people attending, as he was a lovable King Neptune to so many. On busy days at Cabrillo Beach, even in the old days, like on the 4th of July, traffic in and out of that little refuge is horrendous. I will get there an hour early, park up near Point Fermin Park, and hike down to Cabrillo Beach and back. Such a ploy makes it the same hike as Scorpion to Cavern Pt. Nice view, too.
