AM Trip
4 grays - three adults and one calf learning how to swim - on south side of Anacapa
Small pod of dolphins near landing cove on Anacapa

PM
2 small pods of common dolphins(about 15 or 20 each)
separated by a small (about 6 individuals) of oceanic bottle nose dolphins

Calm seas on both trips with about 30 people on each trip. People on the AM trip enjoyed about 30 minutes with the 4 grays on the far side of Anacapa. The whales moved along steadily as Captain Jason kept us parallel. The PM trip had the three sightings of dolphins and had a great viewing of the sea lions around the buoy just outside the harbor. Visitors on both trips were delighted to be out on the calm Pacific and to learn about a bit about the CINP and CINMS as we circumnavigated Anacapa.
