Today 1/28/2011 on the Island Adventure:

AM trip

6 Gray whales
22 Risso's Dolphin
1500 Common Dolphin
boatload of happy whale watchers

PM trip

Megapod of common dolphin 1000+
2 Gray whales
another boatload of happy whale watchers

Both trips were treated to great views of Grays on the South side of Anacapa.  The weather was warm, clear and mostly windless,  just one of our wonderful January days in the Sanctuary.  Guests were from Holland, Scotland, England and a fair number of locals. 

Captain Lee with crew Dani and Steve did a fine job of keeping every one informed and fed.  Debbie Shelley worked tirelessly to answer all the questions.
