[CINC] Today on the Condor - 7 June 2011

Hi All,

Today's Tally

Common Dolphins: 2 pods; one small, one 300+
Humpbacks: 4 sightings totaling 20 animals  ... including 2 cow/calf  
pairs
Blue: 1 (showed flukes twice)
Dalls Porpoises: 10

Headed east towards Anacapa with benefit of calm seas (YEAH) and lots  
of sunshine.  Many humpbacks including one that decided to play with  
a large kelp patch.  Between all the flukes, the kelp act, and two  
displays of whale poop, it was quite a show!  Spotted the Blue just  
off Prisoners Harbor.   The water was less clear than it has been and  
very nutrient rich.

Great day for the 36 passengers and the three of us.
