I'm hoping someone has taken on this position. I have been capt at Emmawood
Group for years now, and it is a blast! We get so many kids going out doing
service projects for their school. They start out thinking it is a drag--but
then when they return, they are amazed at the amount of trash we collect,
and they want to do more--it's all about educating the young--they are our
future!!

Subject: [CINC] Coastal Clean-Up Day: CINC Beach Captain Needed!
In preparation for Coastal Clean-Up Day, September 17, 2011 we are seeking a
uniform beach captain for Santa Claus Lane in Carpinteria. You will be
responsible for going to a beach captain orientation; picking up materials;
distributing clean-up materials to participants; and submitting data to the
county coordinator. You will be asked to host the location in your CINC
uniform and share information about the sanctuary and park during the event.
Please contact Shauna if you are interested. As more clean-up information
becomes available we may have additional CINC beach captain openings in
Ventura and Santa Barbara.
Thank you in advance for helping keep our beaches clean!
