> Passengers from Germany, Sweden, Georgia (US state), North Carolina, New York, Wash. D.C. and Calif. (including a couple from Simi) were treated to a lovely
  blue sky with wind and choppy waves, bow-riding dolphins, and a dearth of whales,.  The clear sky enabled us to see small parts of the same one blue whale, which                     
  we pursued tirelessly, and also, at one point, the four closest Channel Islands at the same time.  It was a nice but uneventful day.
