I echo my friend Carolyn McC's report that "The Channel looked like a calm lake, not a cloud in the sky and Humpback whales...." We also saw a few Dall's and mega pod of common dolphins. .. "An absolutely glorious day in the Channel...This really made up for all the yucky weather we have had for two weeks ! "
 
Polish family from Warsaw, Belgians, and Americans from Buffalo west to California on this extraordinary mid-day trip to Scorpion on Captain Dave's IPCO Islander and hike to Cavern Point bluff overlook as SCI Foundation workers with cargo continued to Prisoners to prepare for today's annual historic Central Valley Chapel mass.  Kayakers' flat water experience unbeatable.  Hikers, remember plenty of water especially important now.  (Saw no foxes.  Were they all in materinty wards?)
