[CINC] CINC Sunset Social

Hello All Naturalist Corps members,
 It is time for our second annual CINC Sunset Picnic Social at Rincon Park on the bluffs overlooking our beautiful Santa Barbara Chanel. I made the reservation for Wednesday June 8th. Dick Bellman will soon follow with an email flyer. Mark your calendars. This will be a great time to meet all of our new recruits, as well as refresh acquaintances with retreads.  All boat crews and staff will be invited, as are of course our CINP and CINMS mentors and researchers.
 Last year 40ish folks showed up at various times from mid afternoon toe sunset. The site is reserved all day, BBQ pit will be active in the late afternoon, and the gazebo and picnic tables are all ours. A public bathroom is on site. It is suggested you bring your own beach chairs to enjoy the view from surrounding bluff level terrain. Details to follow from Dick soon. We will only need a rough count of those planning to attend, and a small donation at the site to cover reservation fee, ice, and some goodies for the hard working crews who will join us after the returning 4:30 boats clean up.
