[CINC] Sat on the Condor X

Two blues (one lunge feeding)

8 close up humpbacks and many more in the distance..all around

 

Pretty nice ocean conditions for today (even though we had a few not do
well). dolphin sightings right away (common). Mat/Dave steered the boat to
SCI and the whales were all around. Many kayakers near painted cave, not a
chance to peek inside. Could someone please identify the small purple
flowering plants up high on the western side of the cave if still in bloom,
I would really appreciate it. (thnx ahead of time).

 

Bruce Matthews was up top with the talk - mentor Barbara La Corte, I
struggled with the combo (PID case), a bit frustrating when I forget things
but got help from Ms. La Corte (it is in my phone though sigh).

 

Parking a bit scarce, maybe clean up event still going on, people dressed in
hazmat clothing with junk all around the middle of the harbor parking lot.
