1 gray whale
60 common dolphin 

Went out with Joel who was taking Rose out on Anacapa for a shadow.  Found 1 very shy gray whale by Point Magu.

2nd trip 
1 gray whale ( same whale as first trip)
1 humpback

Watched same shy gray whale on the way to Anacapca.  After picking up passengers there we headed home.  Someone saw a spout so we turned around.  Thinking it was a gray whale most everyone was looking west, then a passenger (Dan the man) said it's behind us.  When I saw the spout I thought it was a little big.  Well it turned out to be a humpback.  It was a good show and everyone on board awe and oohed very loudly and gave a encore for the tail flukes.  Dan the man got his recognition have telling the boat that he spotted it.  He even wanted tips.   

Thanks to the great crew Captain Jason, Dee and Poncho.   Another day in paradise.  

On the way home
 
Cow calf gray whale pair off Rincon point.   I pulled over to watch.  1 spout was so much smaller and they were very  close to shore.  Hopefully this will be the start of the cow calf pairs!!
