CINC Volunteers,
I forgot to mention, this virtual whale watch trip to our CINP and CINMS is cleared and sanctioned by Shauna. I have presented it at Carpinteria and Leo Carrillo State Beaches as well. Tech issues seem to keep it at odds with our new Volunteer Spot. All our primary mammal residents and visitors are covered by slides and video clips. Slides are also shown of my recent visit to the lagoons in Baja. Paul

> S.O.S to CINC Troupers,
> A sub or two is/are needed to fill in for Tara as my partner at the "Marine Mammals of our CINP and CINMS" presentation at El Capitan State Beach the night of Sat. May 26th ( Memorial Day weekend ). I have a power point presentation set up as a virtual whale watch I will give that lasts about 45 minutes in their outdoor amphitheater, which can seat up to 200. My sidekick would be responsible for the whale watch kit which I will bring, and set items out to be viewed under a watchful eye at the end when attendees are asked to come forward to peak and ask questions. The last video clip in the presentation is about the Chumash Tomol Crossing, and how we today can also access our CINP. So, questions will abound in this regard, too.
> I will gladly give up my campground for that night to you and yours, as I live in nearby Goleta and can easily drive home. Tara has a care giver emergency that popped up-plus we may need at least 3 Troupers including me that holiday eve! Hope to here from you soon, Paul
