[CINC] CINC Volunteer Needed to Support Ventura County Fair Outreach

*Seeking CINC Volunteer to Support Ventura County Fair 2012 Outreach
Committee: *
I am seeking a Channel Islands Naturalist Corps volunteer to become a
committee member to work on the coordination of a joint booth between the
Channel Islands National Marine Sanctuary,  Channel Islands National Park,
Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area, and California State
Parks. Each year we host and staff a booth to provide fair goers with
information about the incredible resources and activities available within
these areas.

Participation in the fair requires a lot of staff and volunteer support,
however, it allows us to reach to a very diverse and large audience ---  we
generally attract about ten percent of the 300,000 plus fair goers in the
agricultural/ natural resources building. A CINC volunteer is needed to
assist with everything from committee meeting notes, to developing
displays, assisting with the CINC volunteer schedule, and set-up/
break-down of the fair booth. The fair is August 1 -12, 2012. The committee
meetings generally start in May and run through the event. If you are
