[CINC] Sunset Picnic; 8/13

All Ocean and Island People,
 This is a follow up on Dick's flyer and Notice. Ventura County folks: The frequent late afternoon winds that often blow onto the Oxnard Plain and Ventura beaches are muted up on the Rincon. We have had windless picnics so far.
 Also, as Dick said, you can get to Rincon Beach Park anytime after 10;00 a.m. The gazebo and picnic site are ours all day. Last year some came to enjoy the beach. There is an outside shower and flush toilette bathroom where you can change. I will be there to check things out prior to noon. I will go out on a bike ride for a couple hours, but my big roller ice chest with "Paul" on it will be there with ice in ti in which to cool your drinks. A smaller ice chest will be for "in drink" ice. Sunset is at about 7:40, and the ranger has allowed us to stay well into dusk.  Dick and Ken will have the BBQ  ready to cook things by 6 p.m.
 Paper plates will be aplenty, as will plastic cups and utensils. Should you favor non-plastic, please do bring your own.  Be there or be square one week from today!   Paul
