[CINC] Condor Express 8/20

The Condor went under sunny skies and relatively calm seas to the area off Santa Rosa Island to find 12 humpbacks in 2 areas.  There were 2 close encounters including “Barnacle Betty” who did her usual show for the passengers.  We then went to an area a short distance away where 3 blue whales came up close to the boat enough to get good photo-id shots.  The 4 humpbacks in this area also co-operated well with for tail flukes.  Meanwhile, 2000 DD’s with many babies came over to see us.  Cubby Winkel and Laura Shelton were the naturalists.
