Sightings:
		3 Blues
		16 Humpbacks

We found the whales--in abundance--in their usual feeding place, just
beyond the shelf. What a show! The humpbacks were busy feeding at
the surface, but showed frequent flukes on their dives. As the day
wore on, the behaviors changed from just feeding to lobtails (3),
tail throws (9), and 2 breaches--one where the entire body of the
whale was above the water! The blues were also on the surface,
showing most of their bodies, but not flukes. There were many more
whales in the distance. Captain Dave said we would head toward
Painted Cave, but had to delay our departure twice because we were
surrounded by whales. After a trip along the island with great
accompanying narrative, we entered Painted Cave to everyone's
pleasure and amazement.

Happy passengers were from Arizona, New York, Chicago, England and
various California locations.

Thanks to Captain Dave and crew for a great day.
