[CINC] Dolphins to reassigned

 Ocean People,
  The USA Today printed a notice today in State-By- State , stating some dolphins trained by the Navy to track down mines will lose their jobs to robots. Starting in 2017, 24 of the 80 so trained dolphins will be replaced by a 12-foot unmanned vehicle. They will be reassigned, along with sea lions, for port security and retrieving objects from the sea floor. These dolphins and sea lions are training in San Diego. However, during the first Persian Gulf War in 1990 BottleNose Dolphin and Sea Lions were trained at the Point Magu Naval Base. They then where used to find mines in the Persian Gulf ( Dolphins ) and  take tools to deep sea divers ( dolphin and sea lions ).   Paul
