If we were as wise and community-focused as dolphins, Marty Flam would
definitely be our revered guide in all things human and humane.

Marty, would that we were all a mensch like you!

How deplorable. Our government is supposed to be helping reduce the
unemployment rate by creating jobs, not eliminating them! Are the dolphins
in a union that will help them fight this? If not, maybe Marty can provide
some legal help.

 Ocean People,

The USA Today printed a notice today in State-By- State , stating some
dolphins trained by the Navy to track down mines will lose their jobs to
robots. Starting in 2017, 24 of the 80 so trained dolphins will be replaced
by a 12-foot unmanned vehicle. They will be reassigned, along with sea
lions, for port security and retrieving objects from the sea floor. These
dolphins and sea lions are training in San Diego. However, during the first
Persian Gulf War in 1990 BottleNose Dolphin and Sea Lions were trained at
the Point Magu Naval Base. They then where used to find mines in the Persian
Gulf ( Dolphins ) and take tools to deep sea divers ( dolphin and sea lions
). Paul
