[CINC] Condor Express Sunday 2/26

AM trip

1 shy Gray whale headed back to Alaska - we saw her/him just a couple quick
times and they no more

Then we headed out to where the Humpbacks have been seen and found them
again

Many spouts all around but the official count is 6 Humpbacks that were
really close to the boat with lots of flukes and swim-bys 

Spouts and lots of activity was seen in distance; rolling; feeding; pec
slapping in distance

 

PM trip

About a mile out of harbor a fairly large group of gulls and pelicans and a
few common dolphins mixed in on our way to the same area north of AI

8 Humpbacks in our immediate area with many more in the distance - easily
over a dozen within a mile of us

More of the same rolling, feeding, fluking, lots of trumpeting and some
whale breath 

Water was great and smooth, sun was out all day

Another awesome day on the water

Only thing missing was those Orcas from yesterday . who must still be in the
area because the dolphins and sea lions were really spare all day!

 

No 3pm trip
