Sightings
	4 shy, elusive grays heading south
	2 pods of dolphins, one of approximately 250 animals, the other with  
around 1000 animals

We had a great group of interested people on board from Switzerland,  
Germany, England, Ireland, Florida, Ohio, Santa Cruz, Moorpark and  
other Southern California Cities.  Many of the passengers were  
scientists attending the Gordon Research Conference on the Biology of  
Aging at the Ventura Beach Marriott.  They had been sequestered  
indoors for a few days and were thrilled to be on the ocean and  
getting a tour of the Channel Islands up close and personal, with  
Captain Dave as a premier guide.   Several were going to be staying  
through the weekend and planned to take advantage of island hikes.
