Hello Naturalists:

AM trip:
1000 Common Dolphins- in 4 groups 3 to 10 miles out from the Ventura Harbor
Route through Anacapa Gap and out approx 15 miles and back around east end of Anacapa to Ventura
Clear, calm conditions
Views of Catalina, Santa Barbara Island, San Nicholas Island and Santa Rosa


PM trip

2000 Common Dolphins-approx 8 miles going out towards Anacapa Gap
Northbound Single Grey whale fairly close to shore between Channel Islands Harbor and Ventura Harbor--- Ranger 85-advised us of the sighting

Feeding frenzy of birds, sea lions, and 100 + dolphins
Common Murre, Western Gulls, Brown Pelicans, Heermann's Gulls, Black vented Shearwaters, etc
