[CINC] Saturday 6/9 Condor Express!!

HI All,

Sightings:
800 Common Dolphins
10 Humpback Whales-several Friendly approaches! Flukes. Tail Lob.
1 Blue whale
15 Rissos

Great day on the Channel after we faced a rather challenging swell going out to the North Coast of Santa Rosa. 6-10ft
The winds and swell died a lot in the afternoon and turning toward SB harbor made for a more gentle ride too.
A great day of whale watching was enjoyed by most of the passengers.
A few probably wished they had stayed on shore after all... after listening to Capt. Dave's talk about conditions prior to leaving.  
But there seemed to be an awful lot of enthusiasm and smiles during the encounters with the whales. 

Krill was 100 feet down so deeper dives gave us some flukes. 

We had 3 humpbacks that surfaced several times next to the boat together and were logging.

We had a few looks at one blue whale. And a few surfing Rissos were fun to see as well.
