[CINC] First blue of the season!

I went out whale watching today on Island Packers as a paying customer on the afternoon trip.

We saw a blue whale mid channel, close the the line of the oil rigs!!!  Very cool.  We then found a gray whale cow/calf pair.  And some commons.  I know that the morning trip saw three gray whales and common dolphin.

Both trips today had no CINC naturalists on duty.  I know the afternoon trip was totally full with people who were excited and wanted to learn!
