[CINC] SUNDAY OCTOBER 7TH ON THE CX

Beautiful Fall day on the water ..

KEN TEATRO & myself as volunteers. Capt Matt & Matt at the helm & Tasha in
the galley.
Ken gave a wonderfully colorful orientation for the passengers which were ,
approx. 25 plus passenger from Berlin, British Columbia , other parts of
Canada, Colorado , SB , Santa Ynez & Montecito .

We headed down to Ventura waters & came upon one lone Humpback who Capt.
Matt said they have been seeing with Rope. She was no where in sight . This
whale  was focused on feeding .. lots of tail flukes .lots of down time &
one very close approach. We did however come across 500 or so Common
Dolphins feeding among lots of bird life & sea lions mixed in. Nice to be
out on the water again !
