Three humpbacks
1000 or so commons

A breaching whale in the far distance was spotted, which led us to Rope and another smaller humpback, which gave us nice views for quite a while. But the breaching humpback was probably not one of these two whales...as breaching started again.  Most got to see some breaching in the distance.  We then headed toward this whale that stayed with the boat for some time.   Bright white pecs glowed thru the water.  Though the whale never surfaced closer to the boat than about 30 yards, at one point I saw white just under the bow.  Sure enough it was our whale swimming under the bow of the boat.  Many at the bow saw glowing white wings dead center, just under the bow.  Kind of magical!

Gray and Karen Sullivan were also on board, Dave was captain.
