[CINC] Santa Rosa Island 2016

Well, it took awhile to find 2016 on my calendar, and volunteerspot gave me fits, but I've signed up for opening day.  I'll do segway tours in the morning and then switch to the zipline tours in the afternoon.  I've booked a room at the "inn" and I hope to have my pyrotechnic training complete by then so I can shoot off those fireworks after dark.  Between now and 2016, I'll be sure to educate the public on this wonderful new opportunity at all outreach and science night events
Great idea Staci!  Who knew being a CINC Naturalist could be so fun!!!!

With Sequestration here and even bigger budget cut backs looming, Channel Islands National Park has come up with some very innovative ways to engage the public and their wallets.In the not to distant future and just in time for the National Parks Centennial Celebration, Santa Rosa Island will be giving Channel Islands Naturalist Corp members a whole new way to "get their hours."
