[CINC] Double Dolphin 4/14

Both trips on the Double Dolphin were sold out on Sunday, despite it being overcast and cool.  The morning trip had 16 people from the Santa Barbara Ski and Sports Club aboard including Paul Petrich who helped me out as a naturalist (he can't help himself) and Gary Longaberger who captains the Sunset Kidd and knows a great deal about Santa Barbara harbor's history.  We had people form Finland, England, and a group of six who have lived in Santa Barbara all their lives and never been whale watching!  In the afternoon, there was a group of eight women from a UCSB Christian group as well as people from Sweden, Mexico, Michigan and Texas.  For a bit of interest, Captain Tyler told me that the Coast Guard revised the Double D's maximum capacity from 49 to 42 because of the average weight of American citizens!  A sorry note about the obesity challenge in the US.
