Sightings:  200 Dolphins
            1 lone, elusive gray whale

As usual, the dolphins were a hit with the passengers.  They stayed around the boat giving everyone plenty of time get great photos.  Passengers also snapped some amazing photos of birds during this time. 

We cruised to the east end of Anacapa, Captain Frank giving a wonderful narration about all aspects of the island.   Just as we were about to head back, a passenger spotted a lone gray whale and we watched it for a couple of blows.  We hung out a very long time waiting for it to reappear, to no avail. 

Passengers were from various parts of Southern California, France and Germany.  It was the first trip for most, and they vowed to return soon.
