[CINC] Blackfish....The movie is very touching and a must see.

There is a possibility of getting the director of Blackfish, Gabriela Cowperthwaite, to speak locally either alone or as part of a panel on marine mammals in captivity.  She is an acquaintance, and we have had lengthy conversations about killer whales and other marine mammals in captivity.  Although Tillicum is emblematic of many of the problems regarding marine mammals in captivity, the broader issues go far beyond his problems.  Would there be interest in having her speak (if it could be arranged)?  Let me know backchannel; I'd like to get some feel for the level of interest in this.  Would there be interest also in having Sea World (if they're willing) present their position?
