2 Humpbacks - cow-calf pair
2 shy Minke Whales
4 pods of Commmon Dolphins, between 100 and 500 each
100 Bottlenose Dolphins
20 Risso Dolphins

Sunny at the harbor until we boarded, then the fog moved in.  We escaped the fog as we sailed up the coast toward Santa Barbara. We found the Minkes, and Common Dolphins a few miles off the coast of Carpinteria. The Humpbacks surfaced just after we stopped to look at the Minkes.  After a good look we headed further up the coast but failing to find anything of interest we doubled back to the 2 Humpbacks. The Condor X was there so we didn't stay long.  We headed out toward Santa Rosa.  Just east of the gap we encountered the pod of Bottlenose Dolphins with the Rissos swimming amongst them. 
45 passengers, mostly international- 2 couples from Germany, 1 visitor from Korea, 1 from Wales, a family from Ireland, 3 young ladies from Switzerland. There were a couple of women from Michigan and a couple from Illinois . Good look at the cave. Everyone happy and no one got sea sick!. Joanna
