1000++ commons
1 humpback
3 blues (cow+calf = 2)

Maiden voyage on the restored Condor Express. Oh so comfortable and spiffy. What a delight to have her back.
June gloom.......hey it’s June 1st. And, FYI Capt Dave’s birthday!
At times visibility down to less than 1/2 mile and 6 foot swells, but the Captains Mat and Dave found what we were looking for. We were actually off the east end of Santa Cruz, but who knew? Well, the “electronics””navtronics” and all the other gizmos were keeping watch and “knew.” We saw one surfacing of the humpback, picked off out of the fog by Bernardo Alps, it fluked and disappeared into the gloom not to be seen again. The blues were in an area not quite so foggy so we were able to get good looks. The contrast in size between the cow and calf was easy to see.......from all vantage points. It’s amazing, particularly when they surface after gulping their fill of krill. The commons were a great treat as usual. Who doesn’t love dolphins!
