Great article on one National Park's solution to reduce negative impacts to benthic habitats and fragile plants/algae caused by anchoring in NPS anchorages.
This is needed here in the CINP. Eelgrass, surf grass, kelp beds and other sea floor habitats get effected every time a boater deploys an anchor and then weighs anchor tearing up these sensitive benthic ecosystems. Bravo!
