[CINC] 06/09/13 Ranger 85 - Channel Islands Seafari

PM Trip:

dolphins
1   Bald Eagle
Captain Frank
and crew Paul took about 70 passengers out toward Anacapa Island for the AM
trip.   We went around to the south side of Anacapa and
saw hundreds of California sea lions and a few Harbor seals.  The return trip was uneventful, but the sea
was smooth and the winds were calm. 
The PM trip
(another full boat) spotted a small pod of about 100 common dolphins 10 miles
offshore.  We enjoyed seeing a Bald Eagle
along the north shore of Anacapa.   Everyone
enjoyed the dolphins and the special treat of seeing the Bald Eagle.  Captain Frank’s excellent narration and enthusiasm
made this another great day in the Santa Barbara channel.
