[CINC] IPCO Island Adventurer 6/15/2013

1 Minke (seen by only a few people a couple times as we were headed into
channel)

300 scattered pod of common dolphins (500+ total scattered commons
throughout the day with birds)

Sooty shearwaters everywhere all day

1 Humpback moving slowly with nothing particular to do so we let him be
after no special tricks

2 Mola Mola

2 Humpbacks - both showing tail flukes - 1 very white and the other very
dark

Another very large Mola Mola swam by us a couple times under the boat; it
swam with it dorsal fin up in the water and was one of the largest 1 have
seen

Close to SCI we got great looks at 35 Risso's that were playful and jumping
- the sun had finally come out so the passengers got to see the island in
the sun

The new Adventurer is really nice, quiet, and about 15 feet wider but that
didn't stop Jimmy from getting it into Painted Cave to see and hear sea
lions and nesting gulls on the bluffs

On the way home we saw a Cow/Calf pair of Humpback whales - the baby was
less than 2 years and both showed us flukes as a great end to the day

People from all over: Singapore, India, Czech Republic, WA, NJ, IL WI,
Atlanta, Dallas, Chicago, Vegas, Phoenix, Santa Clara with locals from Simi
Valley, Pasadena and Agoura Hills

Lots of people in town for graduations
