[CINC] branded sea lions

[Mr Zalophus]

In the midst of a hot spot feeding frenzy yesterday, we spotted a branded
California sea lion.  These branded animals are seen frequently, and the on
board naturalists asked about it.

I have put up photo of this branded animal with a short explanation as to
why scientists in the Columbia River brand them in an effort to save salmon.
