[CINC] Saturday on the Condor

Hi All,

Common Dolphins: two groups of 3,000 ... widely distributed
Humpbacks: 9 ... including one juvenile

WOW!!

Feeding frenzy almost all day.  Behaviors included lunge feeding at  
the surface, many spectacular tail throws and playing with kelp.    
The juvenile also  made several "friendly" approaches.  These  
included one with  impressive eye contact and  many 360 degree  
turns ... two of these displaying his complete underside ... not 10  
feet from the Condor!

I am not prone to rapturous descriptions of days on our channel  ...  
but this day was extraordinarily stellar.  Most of us felt like we  
were living a National Geographic Special."
