*Another fabulous humpback viewing day on the Channel! *

14 humpbacks (in 4 locations)
1000s of common dolphins

27 very fortunate visitors got to spend a beautiful calm sunny day on the
channel aboard the Condor Express. The giant bait balls continue to erupt
all over the channel, and surprisingly close to shore for this time of the
season. One bait ball was about 2 miles off Hope Ranch with a cast of
thousands of dolphins, birds, sea lions, and 5 humpbacks. The whales milled
around the bait balls, exhibited some wonderful lunge feeding near the CE,
while some appeared to be gorged and just cruised through the bait.

We had visitors from Germany, Sweden, Toronto, Hong Kong, Chicago, Austin,
Sacramento, Phoenix, and Santa Barbara, and they all had a ball.
