[CINC] Las Colinas Middle School Science Family Night, Camarillo

Families flocked to the CINC table drawn at first by the gray fox and
island fox pelts. Their intrigue increased as the telemetry collars modeled
by the stuffed eagle and island fox were shared. A cleverly designed,
actual size cut out of the bald eagle glinted aloft against the handball
court wall drew various "Wow" comments.

Along with capturing imaginations with the familiar whale kit Pam Yeager
and I enjoyed hearing as families picked up the park newsletter, sanctuary,
and  concessionaire's brochure what they didn't realize of all that the
park has to offer. Aloud we heard: " I can't believe we haven't been out
there.  We have to do this."

It is rewarding to come away from outreach with a bevy of stirred interest.
