[CINC] 3/14/13 Island Packers - VANGUARD Channel Islands Harbor

The morning trip saw 2- Gray whales for 30 minutes and about
150 Common Dolphins .
We had about 25 passengers from California, Arizona, New
Mexico and Illinois.  Captain Jason and the
crew of Luke and Dani provided a wonderful trip.  We enjoyed calm seas and light winds with
mostly foggy conditions.  Captain Jason
continued out to East Anacapa where the fog lifted and we saw several
California Sea Lions and seabirds.
The afternoon trip saw 1 Gray whale and about 100 Common
Dolphins in small pods.  
We had about 40 passengers, including a 94 year old gentleman
from Hawaii.   We also saw several California Sea Lions and
seabirds at East Anacapa.  The wind and
waves picked up and the fog returned. The passengers were most happy to see the
dolphins riding the bow waves.
