sightings: 1 megapod of common dolphins (2500)
1 gray whale
another megapod of dolpins (2500)

great day on the water with captain anthony and crew steve and dee dee,
other naturalists on board rose and larry
about 45 passengers from england, germany, the us and locals too.
it was overcast and calm as we headed out but we soon encountered a megapod
of dolphins, leaping, surfing
and generally showing off.  we also saw a lone adolescent gray whale,
ambling along and rolling.
after admiring arch rock on anacapa and the hauled out sea lions we headed
back and much to the delight of everyone aboard encountered yet another
megapod of dolphins!
overall a great day on the water.
