[CINC] Hammond's Beach

1 Gray whale

Breached at least 3 times about 200 yards off Hammond's beach east of Stearns 
Wharf.  A young man approximately 11 years old spotted it with a trained eye 
developed after being at St. Ignacio earlier this year viewing the grays up 
close. He shared his experience enthusiastically with a twinkle of delight in 
his eyes, a repeated "whale" holler and a huge grin.
